End of Life Doula
What is an End of Life Doula?
An end of life doula is a compassionate and supportive person who provides non-medical companionship, comfort, and guidance for people who are planning for death or are entering the final chapters of their Earthly experiences. What to Expect:
End of life doula care looks different for everybody because the care provided depends solely on your circumstances and needs. You can expect to sit down with me and discuss the dynamics of your life and support system and, together, we will come up with a plan that works best for you. Below, I have listed some of the possible services I can provide as your end of life doula. Remember, you do not have to be actively dying to be supported by an end of life doula. Only the 11th Hour Doula services deal directly with the active dying process.

Eulogy and Obituary Writing
Eulogies and obituaries may be written before or after death. They may serve two purposes:
1. They may provide the family with a sense of closure by way of honoring the life of their loved one.
2. They may offer you the opportunity to tell your story, your way, and pass down your own wisdom. This allows your family to "hear" your voice during their mourning process.
Whether you are looking for help writing your own eulogy or obituary or you would like one written for a loved one, it would be my honor to help you cultivate a summary of your thoughts, emotions, and deepest expressions of a meaningful life.
